GDPR stands for General Data Protection Regulation. It's a legal framework that sets guidelines for the collection and processing of personal information from individuals who live in the European Union. This dedicated GDPR page gives a quick overview of who we are, what types of data we collect and where we store it.
Who we are
UltraBlock is a trade name of the private company with limited liability Ninble B.V. We're a Dutch company from Groningen located at Helperpark 292.
Types of data that we store
- When you visit our website: date, time, your IP address and a unique hash.
- When you contact us: date, time, your name, email address, unique hash and your company name (optional).
- When you use our extension: date, time, your IP address, a unique hash for rate limiting, hostname to query our API and get the number of trackers we detected in the website you are visiting and, if you choose to share data with us (optional), a summary of trackers, ads and third party cookies of loaded on websites that you visit.
As GDPR requires, we limit the data that we store to that what we need for our service. We log API requests solely with the purpose of rate limiting, statistics and detecting errors.
Places where we store our data
- We host our website and API at Hetzner Online GmbH in Germany.
- We place a cookies in your browser when you visit our website.
- We use StatCounter for web analytics.
